Visit from the guards

Garda Kate and Garda Dave came to school to tell us all about their job and about how to stay safe on the roads. We listened as they told us all about the different parts of the Garda uniform and Ryan even got to test out how tough their shoes are by stamping on them.

Road safety week

For road safety week, we learned all about the safe cross code. We had a great time dancing along to the song. Well done to Amie and Dylan for winning first place in the road safety poster competition, and to Piotr and Elsa for being excellent second place winners.
